Cilantro Lime Steak (served with Chimichurri and fajita veggies)

Cilantro Lime Steak (served with Chimichurri and fajita veggies)



Ingredients

1 large Sirloin Steak (mine was 1.3 lbs)
1 rounded tbsp coconut oil
2-3 cloves garlic
Lime juice (probably about 1-2 tbsp)
2 tbsp cumin
3 or 4 stalks of cilantro, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste


Procedure:

1. Heat oil in pan over medium heat
2. Sprinkle lime juice over steak and season with cumin, salt and pepper on each side
3. Add garlic to oil and sautee until fragrant
4. Turn heat up to medium high; add steak and sear for 3 minutes on each side
5. Reduce heat to medium, add cilantro and cook for another 5-7 minutes (check temperature and cook to desired doneness)
