Coconut Flour Brownies

Coconut Flour Brownies



Recipe: (Makes approximately 12 brownies)

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Coconut Flour
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cacao Powder
4 Eggs
1/2 Cup Natural Honey
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/3 Cup Melted Butter or Coconut Oil

*Optional Add-ins: Walnuts, Dark Chocolate Pieces


Preheat oven to 350 degrees and begin by whisking the coconut flour and cacao powder together.

Eliminate any large clumps

Whisk eggs, honey, melted butter (or coconut oil), and vanilla together until smooth
*Be sure to allow your butter or oil to cool a little before adding it into your eggs. You do not want it to be hot because it will cook the eggs.

Mix the dry and wet ingredients together.

Place parchment paper in pan (8x8 for thin brownies or 6x6 for thick) or oil with coconut oil. Spread batter evenly throughout the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

Cut into squares and serve.
